After a lot of soul searching and much deliberation, I have decided to take an extended break from Like a prayer yoga. Classes will be on until Sunday, 10 February. I’ve added a few extra sessions so there’s chance to use up classes and if none of the times work, email me and I will see if I can add others.
If you’ve always been interested in doing a private healing session but never got around to it, I am offering them at a reduced rate of $50 for an hour for the next few weeks. Email me if you want more information or to book in.
Thank you so much for the support of Like a prayer yoga over these last two years. I feel completely overwhelmed, humbled and so grateful for it. Looking forward to seeing you at yoga over the next couple of weeks and hope you’ve had a happy start to the year.
Like a Prayer Yoga is a studio in East Williamsburg located downstairs at Carthage Must Be Destroyed. The studio holds yoga classes, meditation sessions and private healings in a light-filled, candlelit room with crystals and essential oils to heal and soothe.
Heidi Baker is a teacher and healer who employs an intuitive combination of dynamic and restorative yoga to work with the energies of an individual and group. With hands on healing, music and props, she creates a powerful space that allows students to access change on many levels.
Classes are small and combine a mixture of yoga styles, meditation, fun music and individual energy clearing with a focus on reconnecting with the earth, yourself and above. All levels are welcome. Modifications are provided for different needs.
Comfortable clothes you can stretch and move in. Mats and other supports are provided.
How to find the studio
